So as i had such a positive response to my post with my 2015 photos, I thought I would do one for each month as a way of ending that part and moving on onto the next.

I think for a lot of people, January is a bad month, and I have to agree. I went back to school after Christmas holidays which is always awful and I have soo many assessments.

However, in other aspects it has been pretty good. I hit 3000 blog views and I'm feeling confident about my blog now. I am producing content that I want to and that makes me happy.

For this month's photo I chose this one:

I'm not really sure why, but I really like this photo. I love the colours and the layout of everything. I don't really know if this photo has any deep or meaningful behind it but I thought I would go with it anyway.

I love learning new things and seeing different places and I really want to go on my gap year. I have been lucky enough to have already visited France, Spain, Italy and Switzerland with my family but I have a list full of places I haven't been which I would like to tick off and I am going to share them with you!

Paris, France - It seems like such a beautiful place and I have wanted to go for ages.

New York, USA - I really want to visit in winter because of the snow!

Sydney, Australia - it looks soo pretty

Iceland - I soo want too see the Aurora Borealis

That's only a few of lot of places but I enjoyed this so let me know what you think!

Lapping everyone on the couch

Hello! So like organization(here) I am 90% sure that most people had resolutions about being fitter and so did I. As well as this, I have to complete a January Fitness diary for school so it seemed like the perfect time to get started. Also today is a collab with WhiteInteriors who is having a fitness series on her blog so do go check that out!

I do quite a bit of exercise normally, as I play netball for school and for a club, but before christmas, I was feeling really out of breath in PE because my stamina levels had gone down and this is the main reason for me trying to get fitter. I am not doing it to lose weight, but that's perfectly fine if you are.

I have aimed to do 5 hours of exercise a week in January and trying to spread that evenly over the week. To reach this target, I have tried so new things which I am now going to tell you about!

The first one is planning. I use the calendar app on my phone and plan all my weekly exercise to see where I have gaps and what else is happening in my schedule.

The second one is a diy, on lollipop sticks or pieces of paper write down different workouts, such as 10 pushups so when you want to work out at home you can just pull one out. I haven't tried this yet but I am going to try it this week so I will let you know.

At the start of this month, I was using an app called the 7 minute workout which gives you a number of workouts to do including crunches, high knees, squats etc. and you set the amount of time(20 secs, 30 secs etc.) you want to do it for. When I did it, I would count how many I was doing and keep it in a notebook to see my progress.

And finally, if you are running, find a song that really motivates you and run for as long as that song goes on for or you could do squats for verses, lunges for the chorus and so on.

Behind the Blog

Mini-Update!

So there are a few announcements that have come up that are too big to put in a normal post.

First off, I hit 3000 blog views. I honestly still can't believe that. I am so grateful to each and everyone one of you who reads my posts, comments, likes or follows me on Instagram, it means the world to me. When I started blogging I never thought I would come this far so thankyou so so much.

Secondly, I have started designing blog headers which is something I have been really enjoying. So far,I have designed it for PlanetHollyBobs and Girl0bsessedxx if you want to have a look. If you want me to make you one, feel free to contact me and I will happily do it.

Thirdly, you may remember wayy back in November which seems like ages ago, I mentioned iin a post that I selfharm. It has now come to a point that I can't remeber the last time I selfharmed which is amazing. I am at a point in my life where I am starting to feel a lot happier, still not 100% happy but definitely better.This blog has helped me do that so thankyou again!

2016 Organisation

Hello! So I am a tiny bit obsessed with organizing things and I thought I would share some hacks and ideas with you because I'm sure some of your resolutions were to be more organised. Also pictures are coming soon!

Cleaning Laptop/computer

I have recently done this because I had sooo many files and pictures that I didn't need. To do this go through all your files and photos and delete the ones which aren't needed, also refolder everything. Not only does this make it easier to find necessary things, it means you have more storage space and make your laptop run faster and smoother.

Clothes

I have recently had a huge sort out of all my clothes and moved them from a set of drawers to my wardrobe and I donated so many that I don't wear anymore. This also meant that I don't need my drawers anymore and that resulted in more space in my room. Obviously, you don't have to put your clothes anywhere else but I do suggest having a sort out. (Also would you like a more in depth post of this transformation? If so comment below)

Planners and Notebooks
Everyone says this is in their organisation posts but planners help so much! Currently, I have 3. I have a school planner which is provided by my school and helps me organise all my homeworks. Then I have a blog notebook with all my blogging things and lastly my Sprinkle Of Glitter 2016 diary which I am in love with!

Memories last forever...

The other day on Pinterest I saw this adorable idea to make a 2016 memory jar and I thought I would give it a go this year because in 2015, I made a load of memories but by the end of the year I had forgotten a lot of them. Also for Christmas my friend got me a super cute notebook that she had customized so I have decided to make a memory jar and a photo book for 2016!

To make the memory jar, I bought a Kilner jar and added some brightly coloured paper with double sided tape and wrote 2016 on it. I keep the jar next to my box of paper with some sharpies so I can just write something down and put it in. I also plan on adding cinema tickets or just anything else I want to.

Already this year, I have got quite a few memories and one is when I created a blog header for Girl0bsessed. I really enjoyed making this so please feel free to contact me if you want me to make you one too!

During each month, I am going to collect photos from the month on my computer so then at the end I can print them off and stick them in my memory book. I kinda think this process is similar to when I shared a photo a month from 2016 here so I am looking forward to reliving the memories. At the end of the year I am hoping this will look really colorful and pretty so I am excited for that!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2016! I went back to school today and it was okay but I definitely would rather be at home! I really want 2016 to my year, last year was quite a roller coaster and I'm glad it is a new start. Like everyone else I have made some New Years Resolutions and I am going to share them with you!

Goals for me
Be fitter
Accept myself for who I am
Accept people for who they are
Keep my memory jar + book for the whole year

Goals for my blog
Produce better quality posts and pictures.
2k on Instagram

On boxing day, I reached 1000 followers on instagram which is absolutely incredible. Thankyou to each and everyone on of you who follow it. By the end of 2016 I want to have reached 2k which I know is a lot but I think we can do it.

In 2016, I am aiming to post every 5 days and post a range of fitness, DIY's, photo posts and just thoughts that I have had. I really enjoyed writing my last post so I am going to hopefully do more like it I think, maybe monthly.
