August

17:00

I have been loving writing these posts and I am now so in the routine of them. The whole process of reflecting on a month and then moving on from it is really therapeutic and I get so excited to write them. I hope you have been enjoying them!

This month has been quite hectic but also quite rewarding (I don't know if that is the right word). As I went on holiday on the 14th, the first two weeks of August was spent packing and scheduling blog posts, all of which I was really proud of and you can read them here, here and here. Those weeks were so busy that I didn't get to meet up with my friends which was a shame because I really wanted to see them.

I had a really lovely holiday and took a load of photos which you can see here. We visited a medieval style town which was full of cobbled streets and flower baskets and it was so nice. The best thing about it was that we didn't even mean to go there!

I really don't want August to end because that means it is back to school time. This year I am in classes without my friends, with people I have never met before and I am really nervous. I am quite a shy person so I am worried that I won't have anyone to be in pairs with and do group work with. I am also scared that I am going to lose my friends which is kind of silly as I know that I won't, I'm just still worried it will happen.

This photo is from when I met up with my friends the other day. I had such a good day with them and it was so nice catching up with them.

How was your month? Is anything exciting happening in September?

  7. It seems like you had a lot of fun during this month!
Mine has been okay, not much has happened. I'm currently coursing my 5th semester at Uni. Luckily, the semester will be over in only a couple of weeks!
I need to start planning what I'll do during that three-week break.

  10. I love these little reflections! Back to school is probably the most daunting time of year but I'm sure being pushed out of your comfort zone away from friends will actually be a great thing! You'll hopefully meet new people that you never knew were quite like yourself, good luck!!
